Things To Do Before the Holidays
Here’s a list of fun things to do – with family, friends, or by your lonesome – when you’re in Stevens Pass. Christmas is in the air, almost here. The little town is agog with fun and surprises in little packets. Young and old will find something to do or buy here for the holidays.
There’s Olde St. Nick’s Christmas Market on the 24th to the 25th of November at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. There will be more than 120 vendors, Santa, Live Music, and more. It’s a 2-day, 3-part event! There’s a free entry Black Friday Shopping Extravaganza for all ages. They’ve got an ADULTS ONLY VIP Shopping with $10 admission that includes dessert, hot cocoa bar, live music, giveaways, spa services and more. Kids will have a $10 ALL ACCESS PASS to have Santa pictures, meet & greet with Elsa, Anna & Winter Tinkerbell. They’ve got milk & cookies, reindeer food crafts, face painting and more!
Come November 25th, there’s Storytelling by Santa’s Helper: Elf Joshua. All kids will get to name and take home their very own 10″ elf! They will get to craft a “cheer-o-meter” with Joshua as well as have the opportunity to get their picture with taken with him at the photobooth! Bring a letter to Santa, too, because there’s a mailbox for sending letters straight to the North Pole! This is for all kids 3 to 10 years old at Vintage & Rust, West Main Street.
Also at Vintage & Rust, several painting and sipping celebrations will be held. All supplies, snacks,one glass of wine or hard cider will be provided for guests 21+ of age. On November 27th – the Mistletoe Workshop & Wine, on December 13th – the very popular Vintage Holiday Truck SIP & PAINT, Christmas Truck Sip & Paint on December 6th, Fresh Cut Christmas Trees SIP & PAINT on December 7th, and the Gnome SIP & PAINT for the ladies on December 20th.
There will be workshops at Black Barrel Vintage Co, also on Main St, to teach registered guests how to create fancy Christmas gifts and decor, like:
December 1st – Vintage spoon ornaments
December 4th – Rustic stocking holders
December 8th – Custom stamped bracelets
And then, come to a Pet Adoption event at Dreadnought Brewing wearing ugly sweaters with your pooches) on December 2nd. There’s craft beer, live music, food trucks, picture taking with Santa, and pet goody bags. There’s just no stopping the fun here before Christmas!
